Our efforts to make better shoes extends beyond product design. The movement of goods, including returns, also creates environmental impact. Paid returns help us reduce part of this effect.

As part of our commitment to transparency, we are sharing how 20% of every paid returns fee is allocated. This portion supports the European Outdoor Conservation Association (EOCA) and their environmental projects across Europe.

For 2025, these funds are directed to the Summit Foundation Clean-Up Tour in Switzerland and Italy. Across 2024 and 2025, the project includes 90 clean-up operations, with more than 4,500 participants removing 9.9 tons of waste from mountain areas affected by litter and microplastics.

KEEN’s total environmental allocation for this year is 6,400 EUR.
