The Best of the Waxed Outpost, According to Our Design Director

15 of the best lodges in the West, the original social network, and more…

A good waxed jacket tells a story—because it remembers yours. The patina it earns is a record. A mark of authenticity. Evidence of adventures had. And with fall weather in full effect, now’s the perfect time to start fresh with our new additions to The Waxed Outpost. In this year’s lineup, we’ve built our biggest collection of waxed outerwear ever. It includes weather-resistant waxed jackets in traditional and dry-wax finishes—crafted with or without liners—in a range of silhouettes and weights, cut from fabrics sourced from time-tested textile mills. Below, you’ll find a few favorites from the shop curated by our Design Director, Nick Kemp—including the heavyweight, American-made, Japanese Wool-Lined Waxed Trucker Jacket.
