Limited Nike ACG Drop—Only at Huckberry

Our Holiday Smart Casual Guide, the return of LIFE Magazine, Joe DiMaggio's Patek Philippe, and more...

No product is more emblematic of 90s-era ACG than Man’s Best Friend, a high-pile sherpa fleece the outdoor-leaning sub-label launched in 1996. An enigmatic name. An enduring, albeit ahead-of-its-time design. Off-the-wall ad campaigns to support its release. Now, after a 30-year hiatus, the Man’s Best Friend fleece is back exclusively at Huckberry, alongside matching pants. The pair gets its name from the original interior-facing label, which depicted a shaggy white hound inspired by a former lead designer’s dog. That’s why collectors sometimes call Man’s Best Friend “Pete’s Fleece.” Or so the story goes. Nike’s archive is thin. Documentation is sparse. But people kept looking for it long after they stopped making it. It’s an important piece of ACG history that helped push the brand off the track and onto trails.

It’s the best (and busiest) time of the year. To look good, you don’t need to start from scratch, but it helps to have a few new pieces on hand for the festivities ahead. Our 2026 Holiday Smart Casual Guide features our go-tos paired with straightforward tips on how to wear them from our friend and style savant, Derrick Smith. Inside, you’ll find ready-to-wear looks for every occasion—from office parties to family gatherings to that annual NYE dive bar outing you plan with your hometown friends. Here's to making this holiday season your best-dressed yet.
