East Fork started out on an old tobacco farm, with a wood-fired kiln and pottery handthrown by Founder, Alex Matisse (great-grandson of the famous painter). They outgrew that dirt-floor workshop and picked up an obsessive following along the way, but their heads stayed in the right place. Every batch is still handmade in Asheville, NC from clay sourced in the Southeast. Join the cult of these unusually soulful ceramics, and your home (and dinner guests) will thank you.
