Introducing: Flint and Tinder Maine

There’s a spirit to Maine that gets into your bones—a resilient sense of independence and honest work. I was fortunate to grow up where the rugged coast meets a refined natural beauty. That same dual spirit, where craft and quality are valued most, is a promise we build into every piece of Flint and Tinder gear.

For this new Fall collection, we didn’t just shoot in my home state (pressure’s on me, guys). We let the landscape and people of Maine bring these hardwearing classics to life. From lobstering Downeast, to building wooden surfboards, to exploring Portland’s cobblestone streets (and hitting one of Bourdain’s favorite spots), we took Flint and Tinder to where doing things the right way is a tradition handed down through generations and stitched into daily life.
