It's intense at Asket this April. With our tenth anniversary around the corner, all teams are working at max capacity: big updates are coming across the board. Add to that all the chaos around global trade recently and we have some exceptionally busy times. I find solace in the things around me that are firmly grounded: family, friends - and what we're doing at the core of Asket, the permanence of it. At least when it comes to my wardrobe, I have agency and control – and 100% satisfaction with the outcome. And now that it's officially spring, it calls for some rotation:

This is a real Spring-Summer favorite of mine that's coming out of hibernation. It's one of the few niche products we make at Asket: It's not for everyone. What it is: A lightweight, superfine 100% organic cotton knit with a really dry and nice handle, made to be worn right on the skin in summer. The secret sauce is our Italian yarn, supplied by Filmar, milled from extra-long staple Egyptian cotton in the Giza region. They have direct contact with the farmers and have their own spinning and dyeing facilities close by.

#2 The Loose Jeans

Ever since we introduced our new trouser and denim fits last fall, I've gone all-in on our Loose. I picked up a shipment sample of our light blue color from the first batch and basically haven't taken it off – not even during winter, when I'd normally go for darker colors. It goes so well with both blues, whites, greys and blacks, and can be worn both relaxed and dressed, thanks to the drape that comes from the wider leg. Its natural habitat is of course spring and summer, so – if humanly possible – I'm going to wear them even more going forward.

#3 The Washed Denim Jacket

Nothing spells spring like a short jacket. There's something extra spirited about a denim jacket. It's boxy, stiff and casual – and has more distinctly youthful connotations than the denim bottoms. And I'll be honest, I haven't worn it for some time – as a routine person, it's just fallen out of rotation. But I'm eager to dust it off, match it with the loose jeans, our white t-shirt and a pair of classic penny loafers.

#4 The Zip Hoodie

This is our second version of The Zip Hoodie. First launched Christmas 2017, it was no immediate success. But over the years we reworked the details: added a two way zip, removed the pouch pockets and created hidden pockets at the side seams instead – and made the fabric slightly heavier. Personally, it's a go-to piece these days. It's easily styled, warm and comfortable. With its weighty fabric and generous hood, you feel protected. And because I bike to and from work everyday, that two-way zip really comes into play for comfort when I'm bent over pedaling home like a madman to make up time.
